Rand McNally Is Continually Updating Their Maps, With A Little Help From Their Friends!

When truck drivers see something that just isn't right, they let Rand McNally know about it, thru the unique, anonymous, reporting system set up by Rand McNally.

They call it the "Tell Rand McNally" feature. Through a button, right on the truck gps, itself. Then Rand McNally updates their maps, for the good of the entire trucking community.

 Actually, it's just a modern day version of the way it's always been, truckers helping truckers! 

Get updates and upgrades via TND™ Dock!

The TND™ Dock is an essential part of your IntelliRoute® TND™ device. Upon your electronic registration of the device - it will automatically loads itself on to your computer, to save you time, money and effort.  The TND™ Dock software is stored on your device and automatically installs itself the first time you plug in your device to a computer through a USB cable that Rand McNally® provides with your purchase. 

Through the TND™ Dock you can receive software upgrades for your device, get construction updates, get truck route and POI data updates, and purchase additional data features as they become available.  Note:  Using the TND™ Dock requires an Internet connection and Windows compatible PC.

Installing The TND™ Dock:

1)     Turn on your IntelliRoute® TND™       device and allow it to power up.

2)     Connect the IntelliRoute® TND™ device          to your computer using the USB cable (just like downloading your pictures from your digital camera, and the USB        cable comes supplied, in the box).

3)     When the software appears on your computer screen, click "Install Rand McNally TND™ Dock".

4)     Click "View License Agreement" then click "Accept."

5)     Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Your truckers GPS should then show this message:

The TND™ Dock is now installed and ready for use with your IntelliRoute® TND™ device!

Docking your IntelliRoute® TND™ device:

Every time you connect your TND™ to your PC, the TND Dock software will automatically start, and provide, any updates and/or upgrades, available. 

When you connect your IntelliRoute® TND™ device to the TND™ Dock, the updates will automatically flow to your IntelliRoute® TND™ device. 

You also can access your 'User Guide' electronically, on your GPS, and provide anonymous feedback, via the "Tell Rand McNally" feature from the touch of a button on the TND™ Dock.
